Portfolio Management Senior Associate (PMSA), Private Banking

Job Overview Portfolio Management Senior Associate (PMSA), Private Bank, Clayton, MO – specialist role responsible for assisting Portfolio Managers in providing integrated investment advice and portfolio management services. PMSAs act as additional point of contact for clients or backup for client‑facing Portfolio Managers and coordinate internal delivery of investment services through the appropriate channels within the CIO groups. They also seek new business opportunities from existing books of business and assist other service associates as needed. Responsibilities Actively support Portfolio Managers to meet clients’ investment needs and expectations. Support portfolio composition analysis and asset allocation monitoring. Ensure investment policy statement quality and completeness. Prepare client presentations (asset allocation and performance reporting). Create, update and affirm trading account rebalancing. Daily monitoring of non‑policy/BAC/client‑directed sales and compliance clean‑ups. Reg.9 asset allocation monitoring, portfolio analysis and stochastic modeling. Idea generation and market & platform research. Administrative duties as required. Ensure management of concentration documentation. Assist in developing and/or delivering solution‑specific investment proposals. Proactively identify deepening opportunities and engage in meaningful interactions. Leverage experience to manage and/or execute client investment transactions. Participate in Client Management Process (CMP) activities, including delivering a branded client experience. Coordinate with Client Teams and partner to deliver an integrated service and resolve issues promptly. Ensure adherence to all internal policies and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Minimum of 4‑5 years experience with a financial institution focusing on high‑net‑worth client service and sales. Ability to successfully complete assessment of critical skills. BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Law desired. Ability to obtain and maintain SAFE Act registration.
