Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team on the night shift. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, managing telemetry monitoring, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team in a newly established unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a telemetry environment.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information and care in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Assist with nursing procedures and manage patient flow.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing.
• Current SC RN License or Compact License required.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
