Job TitleGospel-Centered Systems Engineer / DeveloperJob DescriptionWe're looking for a gospel-centered, technically skilled Systems Engineer / Developer to join our IT team in a hybrid role based out of our Hilliard, OH office. You'll work primarily in Salesforce and help integrate, automate, and maintain the various systems that keep LifeWise running efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesSystems and AutomationDesign, build and optimize automations within Salesforce (Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components, validation rules, etc.)Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and increase operational efficiencySupport data integrity through validation, deduplication and governance practicesContribute to system architecture decisions with scalability and sustainability in mindEnsure automations are scalable, maintainable and well-documentedDevelopment and IntegrationsDevelop and maintain custom code to support integrations between Salesforce and external systems (APIs, middleware, etc.)Build and enhance web-based solutions (Web tech stack, forms, custom tools)Manage data flows between systems, ensuring accuracy and reliabilityWrite and optimize SQL queries for reporting, auditing and data correctionTroubleshooting and CollaborationServe as primary contact for daily inquiries, as an escalation point for Solutions Specialists and support senior/executive leadership requestsDiagnose and resolve complex system issues across multiple platformsPerform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes, not just quick patchesMonitor system performance and proactively address risksPartner with internal teams to understand needs and translate them into technical solutionsClearly communicate timelines, trade-offs and technical constraintsDocument systems, processes, and solutions for long-term maintainabilityQualificationsA mature personal Christian faith consistent with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith3+ years of Salesforce experience, including admin-level capabilities and Apex developmentProficiency in at least one of the following: PHP, JavaScript, ASP.NET, jQuery, or similarExperience building and maintaining integrations using APIs or middleware toolsStrong troubleshooting instincts and experience solving technical problems quicklySolid SQL query skillsExcellent communication abilities, including translating tech-speak into plain EnglishExperience managing multiple projects with competing prioritiesStrong understanding of Salesforce data architecture and governance best practicesWorking knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and common integration patternsExperience with web server solutions such as Astro, Cloudflare, Supabase and other CMS toolsUnderstanding of DevOps practices (version control, deployment processes, sandbox management)Proven success operating in a high-growth or startup-like environmentSalary and BenefitsFrom $75,000 per yearMedical, dental, and vision coverage for qualified employeesRetirement plan, including employer matchUnlimited PTO for qualified employees
