PRN/Part Time (RN) Registered Nurse

PRN/Part Time Hospice RN – After Hours On-Call Support We are looking for a compassionate PRN ON CALL Hospice RN for after‑hours support Monday‑Friday from 5:30 pm‑8:30 am. In this role you will be the face of support for patients and families, helping them find comfort and closure during an important time of life. Benefits $45.00 an hour field pay ON CALL phone stipend Mileage reimbursement 1:1 nurse‑to‑patient ratio Comprehensive onboarding and training Flexible scheduling with work–life balance Supportive management with career growth opportunities Responsibilities Provide hospice patient care after‑hours and weekends as needs arise Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones and participate in their care Work as part of an interdisciplinary team (physician, LPN, CNA, HHA, social worker, chaplain, volunteers) to carry out the patient’s plan of care Perform patient assessments, check vitals, evaluate breathing, monitor pain, administer prescribed medication and treatments Ensure accessibility of medical equipment, prescribed oxygen, medication and other supplies Educate family about the patient’s prognosis, changes in care plan, medication and hospice goals Take a holistic approach to care that engages the patient’s mind, body, spirit and family Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license CPR certification Valid car insurance Prior hospice experience (1+ year) Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of hospice nursing care Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Triaging emergent needs and collaborating with physicians to provide comfort and quality care Maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date records Providing services in accordance with agency policies and regulations that define scope of practice Interim HealthCare provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability or veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr Interim HealthCare Inc.
