Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Deliver critical care to patients in the ICU adhering to established protocols and guidelines
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and physiologic measurements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide comprehensive care based on the age-specific needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• Current NYS RN Licensure
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA/RQI certs only)
• NIHSS certification
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire
