Senior Administrative Manager, Education & Community

Job Posting Hennepin County is looking for a Senior Administrative Manager to evaluate and implement the full set of recommendations that were presented by the A‑GRAD Advisory Board and endorsed by the County Board of Commissioners. Hennepin County’s Accelerating Graduation by Reducing Achievement Disparities (A‑GRAD) initiative was launched in 2007 after the County Board of Commissioners passed a resolution calling for a 20‑year collaborative effort to ensure that all Hennepin County youth graduate from high school. In 2008, the commissioners created the A‑GRAD Advisory Board – a group of community stakeholders – to review what the County currently does to support school readiness and success; consider best practices and emerging strategies; and develop recommendations. Ideal Candidate Requirements Master’s degree in public administration, business administration, management, organizational development, or other field appropriate to the position PLUS four years of experience in the planning and administration of organizational operations or programs, two of which must be supervisory.
