In this role, you'll deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment while educating patients and caregivers – ensuring comfort, safety and independence.Core ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and applicable regulationsPerform patient assessments and re assessments to support appropriate ongoing careEducate patients and caregivers on the safe use, care, and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipmentRespond to patient equipment issues, including under emergency conditions when requiredMaintain home oxygen systems through scheduled patient visitsProtect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and infection control standards, including proper use of PPEDeliver, set up, retrieve, clean, and maintain equipment in accordance with company policies and safety standardsPerform routine preventative maintenance and simple repairs; report equipment hazards or incidents as requiredProcess orders and complete documentation accurately and timely to support patient care and reimbursementMaintain basic reimbursement knowledge to ensure proper billing for equipment and servicesPromote company services and products to referral sources, as appropriate.Safely operate and maintain a company vehicleParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with all company policies and compliance program requirementsComplete required compliance training and participate in on call rotation as scheduledPerform other related duties as assignedWhy You're the Best FitHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredCustomer service, Field-based, delivery, or healthcare experience preferredOne (1) year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferredSenior level requires two (2) years of relevant experience, including one (1) year in a similar roleValid and unrestricted driver's license requiredTotal Rewards & Benefits ProgramComprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage (eligible first of the month following hire)401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off Plans including 6 paid holidaysEmployee Stock Purchase PlanPaid Parental Bonding LeaveShort and Long-term Disability InsuranceLife and AD&D InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA)CVS Minute Clinic and Teledoc accessSpousal Advantage Reimbursement PlanIdentity Theft Protection and Legal PlanIn accordance with Florida law, candidates applying for positions located in Florida are required to undergo background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, as applicable.
