ICU Registered Nurse | PRN | Night Shift

Shift Information Position is PRN, working as needed by the department. Night Shift: 7 pm–7 am. The RN demonstrates alignment with the Mission, Vision, Values, and behavioral expectations of Peterson Health. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing and reassessing each patient and planning the care that includes the spiritual, emotional, physiological, and psychosocial needs. These needs are evaluated and documented in the patient’s record. Once developed, the RN ensures that the Plan of Care is carried out through performance and/or appropriate delegation to unit personnel. Required Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred Education BSN. Required Skills Knowledge and ability to perform the skills necessary for the unit-specific competencies. Preferred Skills PALS. Required Licensure / Registration / Certification Current Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse. BLS. ACLS (must be completed within six months if not already certified; renewal within two months of the recommended date). Preferred Licensure / Registration / Certification CCRN. Required Experience One year experience as an RN on a medical/surgical unit and the knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients. Preferred Experience Previous experience as an RN in an Intensive Care Unit. #J-18808-Ljbffr
