Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in an intensive care setting. This is a traveler position, requiring flexibility and a commitment to working night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients, providing comprehensive nursing care in a critical care environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge plans.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (NIHSS).
• DCI/BVP certification.
• Previous experience in critical care or intensive care unit (ICU) preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires working three 12-hour shifts per week during the night, from 7 PM to 7 AM.
