Forklift Operator- Weekly Pay- Start ASAP

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $18- $20/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am- 5 pm

The Forklift Operator accurately weighs, measures, and mixes raw materials to produce cleaning and sanitation solutions while supporting safe and efficient production operations. This role operates forklifts, handles materials throughout the facility, maintains a clean and organized work area, and follows strict safety and quality procedures. The Forklift Operator works closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure products move smoothly through batching, storage, and shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Weigh, measure, and mix raw materials according to batch sheets and formulas to produce cleaning and sanitation solutions.
• Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and staging areas in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of batching, production, and staging areas to support safe operations.
• Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper function and promptly report any issues to maintenance or supervision.

Essential Skills:

• Ability to accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials according to written instructions and formulas.
• At least 6 months of forklift operating experience in a production, warehouse, or similar environment.
• Previous warehouse or production experience handling materials and working around equipment.
• Ability to lift and move 50–75 lbs on a regular basis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Batching or chemical manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse production environment.
• Comfort working with cleaning and sanitation solutions and related raw materials.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production, warehouse, and supervisory staff.

Work Environment:

The role is based in a congested production and warehouse facility where multiple activities occur simultaneously. The environment is climate-controlled, providing consistent working conditions throughout the year. Work involves frequent use of forklifts, handling of raw materials and finished products, and operation around batching and production equipment. Employees wear appropriate personal protective equipment when handling chemicals and working in production areas. The position requires regular lifting of 50–75 lbs and moving materials through busy spaces while maintaining awareness of equipment and coworkers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
