Responsibilities Elevate design standards across a broad set of outputs, from digital products to patient-facing experiences. Apply meticulous attention to typography, motion, copy, composition, and art direction across projects. Work within component-based design systems, knowing when to follow established patterns and when to push constraints. Present design rationale clearly, incorporate feedback constructively, and build trust with collaborators at all levels. Demonstrate accountability, flexibility, and initiative, prioritizing work to deliver results efficiently. Operate as a hybrid product designer, combining strong UI craft with solid UX judgment across flows and end-to-end experiences. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Design (Digital Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field) or a high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in product, UX, or visual design for digital products and experiences. An exceptional portfolio spanning multiple projects and mediums, with a focus on interface or screen-based experiences. The work carries real responsibility, serving patients, caregivers, and scientists who rely on clear, accessible digital tools. While this role leans toward visual and UI design, it expects a hybrid designer who can elevate interface quality, systems thinking, and overall product polish while competently addressing flows, structure, and interaction design.
