Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool Med Surg

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Float Pool. This position is ideal for individuals looking to provide top-notch care in a dynamic environment across various patient units.

Position Information

• Role: RN
• Specialty: Med Surg / Tele
• Number of Openings: 2
• Shift: Nights (3x12)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: As required
• Call Requirements: As required

Unit Information

• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• EMR System: EPIC

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP
• Years of Experience: 2+ years in similar roles
• Float Requirements: Must float to different units as needed.

Must Have Skills/Experience

• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with various healthcare concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to act as Charge RN in the absence of a designated charge nurse.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience with Telemetry patients is preferred.
• Comfortable caring for post-cardiac surgery and general medical patients.
