Sonographer

We are a fast-paced, growing heart and vascular clinic seeking a Sonographer. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task. As a Sonographer you will Complete all functions necessary in performing quality echocardiograms, stress echoes, and vascular studies. Essential Functions of the Role: Able to provide direct patient care to patients in both the stable and acute care settings. Works with general supervision, structuring own work patterns within a general outline. Responsible for reporting interpretations to physicians when completed. Referring unusual situations or problems to physician/supervisor Ability to accurately calculate in apothecary and metric systems for drug administration and document clinical information. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D Current ARDMS or CCI or registry eligible and pass registry within one year of the date of hire Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program Desired Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in the Cardiology field One (1) years’ experience preferred as an ultrasound technologist. Cardiology experience preferred Ability to prioritize and multi-task Deadline and detail-oriented This position is a clinical position and will report to the office Monday- Friday from 6:30 am – 5:00 PM. Physical Requirements This position requires a full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds.
