Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Contract Job function: Management and Manufacturing Responsibilities Assemble cable harnesses—build harnesses to wiring diagram, form boards, solder, crimp, plug contacts into connectors, and torque back shells. Follow written instructions from mechanical engineering and read drawing schematics. Perform a range of tasks from repetitive to non‑repetitive production assembly operations on modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Work from diagrams and drawings, create initial layouts, and use hand and power tools, jigs, and saws. Conduct continuity checks on work in process and finished assemblies. Perform quality inspections of the processing line according to quality specifications. Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies under simulated conditions.
