Responsibilities The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC) will participate in the integrated care team model at OMH. Our interdisciplinary team includes physicians, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed clinical psychologists, and licensed mental health professionals (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/LMHC). OMH values collaborative care and believes this coordinated approach provides the highest level of care to our patients. Customize the care for each patient: clinicians have the autonomy to determine visit frequency and duration. Medication management and individual psychotherapy are the most common forms of clinical work performed at OMH, but clinicians also perform family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed. Pick your own schedule! Enjoy the freedom to create custom schedules with the perfect work/life balance. Typically, clinicians work between Mondays‑Fridays, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Focus on patient care without additional on‑call responsibilities. Clinicians cover the care for their own patients. Licensure, Education & Experience Licensure in Colorado and/or Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience working with patients who have various behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance misuse, and other psychiatric impairments under the supervision of a consulting psychiatrist(s). New graduates are welcome. Preferred: Successful completion of the PMHNP‑BC exam(s).
