Behavioral Analyst

The Behavioral Analyst is responsible for the assessment, development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized behavioral support plans for individuals receiving services through Northern Lakes CMH Authority. This role focuses on supporting individuals with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and co-occurring disorders by utilizing evidence-based behavioral interventions to improve functioning, reduce maladaptive behaviors, and enhance quality of life.

Essential functions include conducting comprehensive behavioral assessments, developing individualized person-centered Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Treatment Plans, providing ongoing monitoring of behavior plans, conducting site visits, observing staff interactions, providing training to direct care staff, providing consultation to case managers, clinicians, and residential providers, ensuring appropriate use of restrictive or intrusive interventions, maintaining documentation, participating in Person-Centered Planning meetings, contributing to policy development, completing continuing education, and providing mentorship.

Qualifications include being credentialed and qualified to provide services within this discipline, having a master's degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or related field, and experience working with individuals with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or co-occurring disorders. Licensing or certifications required include being licensed/certified in the State of Michigan as a BCBA.

Pay: $71,663 – $81,663

Working conditions/physical requirements may include irregular hours, travel by personal vehicle, exposure to hazardous material, lifting up to 50 lbs, stretching/reaching, exposure to blood borne pathogens and infectious disease, hand/finger dexterity, talking in person, talking on the telephone, hearing in person, hearing on the telephone, and vision for close work.
