Build parts that go to space.

Our client is a space and defense manufacturer in the Buffalo area, and they are growing fast. They need skilled CNC machinists now, and the need keeps growing. This is a permanent, full time position with their company, not a temp assignment.

This is not a button pusher job. You will run lathes, mills and mill turn machines on precision parts where the print matters and the tolerance matters.

What you will do

• Set up and run CNC lathes, mills and mill turn equipment.
• Read and work from engineering drawings using GD&T.
• Inspect your own work and hold tight tolerances.
• Deburr and finish parts to spec.
• Help with CNC programming and program edits if you have that skill.
• Keep your area safe, clean and organized.

Required

• At least 3 years of CNC machining experience.
• Hands on experience running CNC lathes, mills or mill turn machines.
• Able to read blueprints and apply GD&T.
• U.S. citizenship (required for this space and defense work).
• Available for 40 hours a week plus overtime.

Preferred - Not Required

• CNC programming experience. A big plus, but not a must.
• Mill turn experience.
• Aerospace, space or defense manufacturing background.

Schedule

Full time, 40 hours per week plus overtime.

Pay

Starting at $80,000.00 per year, depending on skills and experience. Overtime available.
