Schedule:

• 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• 12-hour night block, every other weekend

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as an IR Technologist
• Proficiency in all aspects of Interventional Radiology procedures, equipment, and sterile techniques
• Valid ARRT (R) registration; ARRT (VI) preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of one year of recent IR Tech experience strongly desired
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of interventional radiology procedures, adhering to department protocols and safety standards
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
• Accurately document procedures, patient assessments, and progress in electronic health records
• Assist physicians, nurses, and other team members during specialized procedures
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, providing necessary support and communication
