Sunglass Hut - Assistant Manager I

Requisition ID: 932394 Store # : 002524 Sunglass Hut Position: Full-Time Overview The Assistant Manager I is a core member of the leadership team that drives Sunglass Hut's success. You will partner with the Store/Multi-Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, including sales, coaching, merchandising, talent acquisition, and retail excellence. Major Duties and Responsibilities Utilize all company tools to deliver on the sales plan, develop associates, and achieve company objectives. Employ reporting tools and business acumen to identify and address performance gaps and capitalize on successes. Provide ongoing coaching to associates, fostering growth and a motivating work environment. Acquire talent using networking and recruiting skills, conducting interviews in partnership with the Store/Multi-Store Manager. Seek opportunities for self‑development as defined in an individual development plan. Spend the majority of time on the sales floor. Develop and maintain customer relationships by maximizing all company tools. Consistently execute brand standards. Maintain store merchandising standards, including updates or changes. Apply product knowledge and use company learning tools to stay current on new products in fashion and performance. Execute operational policies and procedures. Communicate brand strategy, promotions, contests, and incentives clearly to the team. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 1+ years of experience. Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of store operation. Detail-oriented. Critical thinking skills to ensure absolute execution of operational components. Preferred Qualifications Customer service and/or retail experience. Previous leadership experience of 1+ years.
