Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; will consider 1+ year with Level I/Teaching Facility experience License: Pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: Strong experience with telemetry, drains, monitoring flaps post-op, tracheostomy/total laryngectomy care, tube feeding, phlebotomy, IV access, and central line management Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our medical surgical specialty. The position is a 13-week assignment on the night shift. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:5. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The role includes caring for patients with cuffed/cuffless tracheostomies, total laryngectomies, carotid blowout precautions, and free flap patients. Candidates should be proficient in telemetry and capable of providing wound care. Additional responsibilities include monitoring flaps post-operatively and managing surgical drains.
