Employee Housing Cleaner - Year Round

Position Summary The primary responsibility of the Employee Housing Cleaner is to clean the employee housing properties. They must present themselves in a cordial and orderly manner and follow all Winter Park policies, procedures, applicable laws, and health and sanitation codes. Wage Hourly pay: $21.46 per hour. The range is one component of the total compensation package; other rewards include region‑specific benefits. Empty all trash and waste containers and take them to dumpsters. Deep clean lodges, units, and houses between seasons (floors, walls, windows, doors, furniture, fixtures). During the winter season, clean rooms/properties that are vacated. Order cleaning and paper supplies and restock properties as needed. Conduct stock inventory at properties and restock as needed. Deliver supplies to lodges (cleaning equipment, bedding, kitchenware, vacuums, mattress protectors, shower curtains, etc.). Identify maintenance needs and report to the housing team. Snow removal as assigned. Minor maintenance of cleaning equipment. Lifting and moving furnishings and supplies. Maintain friendly and helpful attitude while dealing with other employees. Report any unsafe conditions observed in the employee housing properties. Work schedule: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week. Education & Experience Requirements Education: High School or GED (General Education Development – High School Equivalent). Experience: Cleaning, janitorial, or facilities experience required. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency with cleaning equipment. Knowledge of disinfectants, cleansers, pesticides. Experience with paper, soap and chemical dispensers. Hand tools usage. Snow blower operation. Physical Demands and Working Conditions The job is performed largely outdoors in high exposure to cold, snow, wind, rain, bugs, sun, high altitude, extreme heights, lightning, etc. It requires frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Additional strenuous physical activity may include walking or hiking on uneven terrain with heavy tools or equipment. Exposure to cleaning chemicals, de‑greasing, painting fumes, UV radiation, noise from snow blower and tools may occur. Hearing protection may be required. Vision and hearing functions are continuous during the role. Other Duties as Assigned The role may evolve with the resort. The employee must be flexible and willing to accept new duties and possibly transfer existing ones. They should positively influence the transformation of the resort and its associated lines of business.
