Contents Restoration TechnicianPrecision Packouts is a growing contents and textiles restoration business, specializing in the recovery and restoration of personal and commercial property affected by fire, water, mold, and other disasters. Our mission is to provide top-tier restoration services while building long-term partnerships with restoration companies, insurance adjusters, and clients. The Contents Restoration Technician plays a critical role in delivering on our core values of Commitment to Quality Service and Continuous Improvement, Caring, and Communication within our contents and textiles restoration business by providing operational support in remediation efforts for client contents. This individual will primarily spend their time:1. Delivering contents restoration services to our quality standards.2. Performing packout, cleaning, storage, and packback related duties.Responsibilities:Inventory, packout, cleaning, vaulting, wrapping, staging, and packback of contents as part of the cleaning and restoration processEnsure all operations procedures and protocols are followed while on active jobs, in the warehouse, or while traveling to or from work or job locationsManipulate contents at the client site to allow for the remediation crew to perform required tasksOperate iCat inventory software on a company provided iPhoneMake job related updates in the Proven Jobs Desktop and Proven Jobs Mobile applicationTake exceptional care to package contents to prevent damage during transportTransport contents between the client site and our warehouse facilityMaintain equipment used in daily tasksDrive vehicles, including the company's 16 foot box truckDrive forklift to move contents within our warehouseApply corporate valuesThe ideal candidate will understand the restoration industry, have a caring spirit, and a commitment to excellent customer service.Qualifications:1+ years of experience in restoration, preferably within the contents restoration industryBilingual Speakers (English & Spanish) strongly preferredEligible to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo's Motor Vehicle policyPossess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethicMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPhysical Requirements:The employee must regularly lift and/or move between 25-75 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, sit, see, use hands and fingers to type on keyboard and handle material, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. Additionally:The worker is regularly subject to inside and outside environmental conditionsThe worker is regularly subject to one or more of the following atmospheric conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: Fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases and/or poor ventilationThe worker is occasionally subject to extreme cold: Temperatures typically below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hourThe worker is occasionally subject to extreme heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hourThe worker is occasionally subject to one or more hazards including moving vehicles, heavy objects overhead and exposure to chemicalsThe worker is occasionally subject to air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids. The worker is occasionally required to wear a respirator.Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
