Job Summary And Qualifications Electrophysiology Technician (EP Tech) We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate Electrophysiology Technician for a full-time opportunity. As an EP Technician on our team, you will greet your patients, comfort them and transport them to the EP Lab. Once in the lab, you will assist the physician in performing invasive EP procedures. Typical duties may include: Assemble supplies and equipment needed for procedures Assist in soothing and positioning patients Maintain sterile techniques During procedures, monitor the patient as you assist the physician After the procedure, gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization May also transport patients to recovery Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology or related field RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) preferred Two (2) years of Electrophysiology experience ACLSandBLS required Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, arrhythmia identification, hemodynamic changes and all interventional devices/procedures (EP/ablation/coronary/peripheral) HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital has been serving the Hudson, FL community since 1981.
