Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a strong cardiac background to join our High Acuity care team. The unit primarily serves a high-volume cardiac and cerebrovascular accident (CVA) population, requiring the ability to manage complex cardiac drips such as heparin and nitroglycerin.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac and CVA conditions.
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips and medications effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with standards.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Travel nursing experience is required.
• Strong background in cardiac care is essential.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts including 3x12 or 4x12-hour schedules.

Shift Information

The position involves night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, available in both 3x12 and 4x12-hour formats.
