Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist in sterile compounding and medication preparation within a hospital pharmacy setting. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and uphold high standards of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications in sterile and non-sterile environments according to prescriptions.
• Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for all compounded medications.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy equipment, including EMR systems and compounding tools.
• Assist pharmacists with medication inventory management and restocking.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy work area.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Pharmacy Technician certification with sterile compounding experience.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling.
• Be knowledgeable about pharmacy safety protocols and sterile technique procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies.
