Why We're Hiring This Role:

• Vapi is scaling fast, and our brand's surface area is scaling with it - from one-pagers and sales decks to our second user conference, VapiCon. We need someone who can own that surface end-to-end and raise the bar on craft.
• Our marketing and sales teams are constantly shipping content, but design has been stretched thin and reactive. We need a dedicated senior designer who can build reusable systems (templates, components, guidelines) so the rest of the company can move fast without sacrificing quality.
• VapiCon is one of the biggest bets we're making this year to bring our developer and customer community together in person, and it needs a design owner who can carry it from concept to on-site execution.

What You'll Do:

• 30 Days: Ramp up on Vapi's brand guidelines, voice, and existing asset library. Meet with marketing, sales, and events stakeholders to understand current pain points and pipeline. Audit and triage the highest-priority one-pagers and decks in flight, and ship your first polished deliverable.
• 60 Days: Own the design of core sales and marketing collateral (one-pagers, decks, pitch materials) and establish scalable templates/systems so others can self-serve on lower-stakes assets. Evaluate and make recommendations to improve design direction for VapiCon - visual identity, signage, stage graphics, swag, and attendee-facing materials.
• 90 Days: Be the go-to design owner for brand-facing collateral across the company. Drive VapiCon's design production to completion in partnership with the events team. Propose a roadmap for evolving Vapi's broader brand system based on what you've learned.

Who You Are:

• 7-10+ years of experience in brand or graphic design, ideally at a B2B SaaS or developer-tools startup, with a portfolio that shows range across print, digital, and event design.
• Proven experience designing high-stakes sales and marketing collateral - one-pagers, decks, pitch materials.
• Experience designing for live events or conferences (signage, stage/environmental graphics, swag) is a strong plus.
• Expert in Figma; comfortable working within (and evolving) an existing brand system.
• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment with shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and high ownership.
• Strong collaborator who can partner closely with marketing, sales, and executive stakeholders, take feedback well, and push back thoughtfully when it serves the work.
