As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and adherence to Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry according to site procedures, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and vehicle records. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Support the orderly movement of deliveries, outbound shipments, and personnel by following established traffic, gate, and access-control procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
