Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a General Hematologist/Oncologist to join Cape Medical Oncology , a comprehensive and well‑established cancer program serving patients throughout Southeast Missouri and the surrounding region.

As a Saint Francis Medical Partner , physicians at Cape Medical Oncology provide compassionate, evidence‑based care across the full continuum of cancer treatment. The practice treats a broad range of malignancies, including:

• Bone cancer
• Brain cancer
• Breast cancer
• Colon cancer
• Lung cancer
• Leukemia
• Prostate cancer
• Skin cancer

Comprehensive Cancer Care

Cape Medical Oncology delivers advanced, patient‑centered oncology care with access to modern therapies and clinical research opportunities, including:

• Chemotherapy and hematologic therapies
• Immunotherapy
• Biological drug therapy
• Clinical trials
• Advanced oncology research

Participation in clinical trials remains a cornerstone of the practice, allowing patients access to promising new therapies while contributing to the future of cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.

 

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $615,986 plus productivity incentives
• Aggressive student loan repayment : reimbursement of up to $42,000 annually
• $50,000 signing bonus or monthly stipend option for residents
• $5,000 CME, licensing, and dues allowance
• Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage
• Health, dental, and vision insurance
• Retirement plans including 403(b), 457(b), and tax‑deferred annuity
• Relocation support totaling $15,000

 

Practice Overview

• Join a collaborative oncology team including:
  • 4 Hematologist/Medical Oncologists
  • 2 Radiation Oncologists
  • 2 Advanced Practice Providers
    
• Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Call schedule:
  • 1 weekday per work week
  • One weekend (Friday–Sunday) per month
