Mammography Technologist

Outpatient radiology office in Grass Valley, CA. We are seeking a dependable, experienced, and caring Mammography Technologist. This is a *Part time position Monday-Friday.* Typical hours of *8:00am 4:00pm* and no nights/weekends.

Responsibilities include:

* Explain exam procedures to patients in a professional and concise manner
* Perform high quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams with high level of expertise
* Monitor patient's well being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action
* Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process
* Navigate the image storage system to send, review, manipulate, and print images, and resolve exceptions when needed
* Must be dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, thorough, and organized
* Excellent patient service and written/oral communication skills are a plus
* Professional appearance and demeanor

Requirements:

* Current American Registry of Radiologic technologist (ARRT) (R) (M) License required
* Current California (M) (R) license
* Current CME's
* Current CPR certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
