Adult Ed Part-time (Baking & Pastry Arts Instructor (Evening Program) Lake Technical College – Eustis, FL Pay: $27.00 per hour • Schedule: Part‑time, evenings Monday‑Thursday • Starting Date: Immediately Job Description Lake Technical College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Part‑time Baking & Pastry Arts Instructor to join our Culinary Arts team. If you have a passion for baking, pastry arts, and mentoring future professionals, we’d love to hear from you. This position teaches our 600‑hour Baking & Pastry Arts program, which runs annually from mid‑August through mid‑April during evening hours. Responsibilities Deliver engaging, hands‑on instruction in baking and pastry arts. Prepare students for success in the culinary industry through classroom and laboratory instruction. Demonstrate proper techniques, food safety, sanitation, and industry best practices. Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a safe, organized, and professional learning environment. Collaborate with a supportive team of culinary instructors and staff. Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of professional baking and pastry industry experience. ServSafe Food Managers certification, preferred – or willingness to obtain the certification quickly. Passion for teaching and mentoring students. Strong communication and organizational skills.
