Warehouse Trainer - Nights

Job Details Monday-Friday - 6pm-5am Compensation: $21 per hour Description On this shift, the employee will train and supervise material handling operations to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role requires continuous coordination of training schedules, execution of training sessions, and oversight of forklift operations. Essential Functions Reasonable Accommodations Statement Confers with management, supervisors, and team members to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies. Coordinates training schedules with hiring and training demands across all shifts; conducts daily classroom, video, and hands‑on forklift driving evaluations; and delivers training sessions covering specified areas, such as refresher and annual training requirements—including SHARP (Ship, Handle and Receive Properly), Batch Control, SAM (super absorbent material) Hazards, LOTO, Battery Changing Procedures, and forklift recertification. Conducts group and/or one‑on‑one training sessions as needed; evaluates trainees to measure progress and effectiveness; completes training reports; and counsels team members on how to perform specific forklift tasks. Creates and updates training manuals and agendas; consults with management to develop training materials; monitors and evaluates program effectiveness; proposes improvements to work procedures; and operates a lift truck performing various material‑handling duties as requested by the Operations Manager or Shift Supervisor. Performs all essential functions of the Material Handler position; maintains reliable attendance; complies with safety and security standards; and performs additional duties as assigned or required. Experience: One (1) year of related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred; at least 80% cross‑trained in all material‑handling functions preferred.
