Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Facility: Omni Continuing Care The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) cares for residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical/vocational nurse. This role assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensures a safe and comfortable environment, and supports licensed nursing staff in delivering individualized care in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies. Provide direct resident care, includingassistancewith bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinent care as applicable, oralhygieneand feeding. Measure and record vital signs, weight,percentage of meal consumedintake/output as directed. Assistresidents with mobility, transfers, and position using proper body mechanics and lift equipment as applicable. Respond promptly to call lights, resident needs, and changes in condition; report observations to licensed nursing staff. Maintainaccurateandtimelydocumentation andin accordance withfacility procedures Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive living environment Maintains a clean,safeand comfortable environment Provides postmortem care Contributes to theresidents’assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the plan of care. Education and/or Experience High School Graduate/GED Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant in good standing with the certification board or is a graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state approved competency examination (written and skills) within 120 days of employment; name entered into state nurse aide registry. Minimum Qualifications Computer skills arerequired. Meets all state and federal criminal background check requirements.
