Job Description
Job Opportunity Position Overview This position is for a sonographer with comprehensive experience in various imaging procedures. The candidate will be expected to work in an acute hospital setting and demonstrate proficiency in both normal and pathological assessments across multiple specialties. General Job Duties
- Conduct sonographic examinations of the abdomen, including aorta, inferior vena cava, liver and biliary system, pancreas, spleen, and renal structures.
- Perform gynecological assessments covering breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, and pelvis with a focus on both normal and pathological findings.
- Execute obstetric ultrasounds during all trimesters and manage related procedures such as amniocentesis, biophysical profiles, and assessment of placental abnormalities.
- Assess neonatal conditions, particularly congenital anomalies and neonatal head evaluations.
- Examine superficial structures including the abdominal wall, breast masses, hematomas, scrotum and testes, and thyroid gland.
- Conduct vascular assessments including carotid duplex scans and extremity venous and arterial duplex evaluations.
- Perform procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative assessments.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
- At least one contract or more of full-time sonographer experience.
- Specific licensures and certifications required: ARDMS (AB), ARDMS (OB), ARDMS (RVT).
- Active BLS certification, must be AHA certified.
