Respiratory Therapist (RT) | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Location: Novi, MI Pay Rate: $45-50/hour Position Type: Per Diem Care Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Shift Availability: 8:00pm-6:00am Job Summary Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Respiratory Therapists (RTs) for long-term care opportunities in Novi, MI. Responsibilities Utilize EMR Matrix to record patients' medical information and vital signs Assess respiratory status and perform respiratory care procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols. Administer respiratory therapies, treatments, and medications as prescribed. Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment and oxygen delivery systems. Evaluate treatment effectiveness and report changes in resident condition to the healthcare team. Support residents with chronic respiratory conditions through ongoing monitoring and care. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on respiratory care procedures and equipment use. Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident responses. Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards. Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active RT license. Minimum 1 year of experience working in long-term care setting. Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities. Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality. Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds. Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Credentials Required Active and unencumbered MI RT License. Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport. TB test within 12 months. LARA fingerprints within 12 months. Resume. Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement.
