Room Attendant

Clean and prepare guest rooms by properly making beds, restocking supplies, replacing linens and towels, and ensuring bathrooms and amenities meet hotel standards. Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize all surfaces and floors, including walls, windows, fixtures, furniture, and sliding doors using proper cleaning chemicals per OSHA guidelines. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas including guest rooms, hallways, stairwells, vending areas, foyers, and linen closets. Stock and manage housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, tools, and linen throughout the shift; return and restock at end of day. Complete deep cleaning and scheduled projects to uphold cleanliness and presentation standards in rooms and public areas. Report maintenance issues and remove unneeded room items (e.g., rollaways, cribs) as needed; turn in lost and found items to the supervisor. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, anticipating needs and delivering high-quality service. Follow all safety, security, and hotel procedures while working efficiently with other departments and adhering to attendance and reliability standards. Maintain knowledge of and comply with departmental policies, service procedures, 4 Keys service standards, and safety and security procedures. Perform all additional duties as assigned by management. Physical Requirements The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to: Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds frequently to assist guests Ability to stand for extended periods of time Push and pull carts weighing up to 150 pounds Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation Ability to bend and twist, push, and pull, stoop, and kneel Ascend and descend a ladder Disclaimer All duties and requirements stated are essential job functions.
