Your future role at a glance Location: Panama City, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Hospital Department: Emergency Department Schedule: Night shift | Full-time | 6pm - 6am | Rotating weekends and holidays How you'll make an impact in this role Lead and support nursing teams during assigned shifts, creating a collaborative environment that delivers safe, high-quality patient care. Plan and coordinate daily staffing and assignments, ensuring patients receive the right level of care at the right time. Anticipate patient and physician needs, adjusting priorities to maintain smooth, efficient unit operations. Address patient care concerns promptly and professionally, reinforcing a culture of accountability and service excellence. Contribute to hiring, coaching, and developing team members, helping build a strong, high-performing clinical team. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required. What additional requirements you'll need Minimum 2 years of experience in the ED. Charge nurse experience.
