Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit, Wenatchee, WA: Provides compassionate, high-quality nursing care to intensive care patients while coordinating individualized plans of care and responding to changing clinical needs. The role includes medication administration, patient education, accurate documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and delegation of care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
• Active Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse licensure.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Additional Information:
• Provides ongoing assessments and nursing interventions based on patients’ physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
• Develops, implements, and reassesses individualized plans of care.
• Administers medications and performs nursing procedures and treatments.
• Evaluates discharge plans, identifies educational needs, and teaches patients and families appropriate health information.
• Documents assessments, interventions, care plans, and patient responses accurately.
• Delegates appropriately and oversees care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Communicates and collaborates with members of the healthcare team.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Practices in accordance with the Washington Nurse Practice Act and applicable unit standards.
