Leader In Training (Part-Time)

Overview We are excited to open a brand new store at the North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville, GA this August. We will be hiring many new positions for this team and will start interviews now. The Leader in Training (LIT) and Floor Leader position’s primary responsibility is to fulfill our mission statement: “To create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” The LIT and Floor Leader perform a variety of sales, merchandising and operational tasks assigned by store management (e.g., cashiering, merchandise display and pulls, register procedures, and routine cleaning of facilities). They work directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new Teammates and provide leadership. Responsibilities Sales Generation and Guest Service: greet Guests, answer questions, help locate merchandise, and provide legendary service; demonstrate product knowledge and sales education; maintain knowledge of promotions, policies, and security practices; aim for personal sales goals and contribute to the team’s performance. Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: recognize recruiting opportunities, develop skills in leading and coaching new Teammates, maintain a positive floor culture, promote professional appearance, participate in training and performance tracking, motivate Teammates to complete tasks, and demonstrate denim showmanship and related coaching. Visual Merchandise Management: own and influence product through zone ownership, manage product knowledge and lifecycle, assign zones, ensure adherence to Visual Standards, and execute new tools and merchandising opportunities. Operations: work a flexible schedule, complete opening/closing checklists, monitor security and loss prevention, handle returns and exchanges per policy, maintain a clean and shoppable store, and follow Buckle policies and tools. Supervisory and Leadership: provide feedback, support leadership, promote store growth, maintain professional relationships with Teammates, perform duties with high customer service, and participate in special projects as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
