This role requires proficiency in operating various powered industrial trucks and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Distribution Center in Hagerstown, MDWhat's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Stand Up Forklift Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 21.00 to $ 22.50 / hourFull Time work availableVarious shifts availableMonda - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PMMonday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PMSunday - Thursday, 10:00PM - 6:00 AMSafely and efficiently operate Stand Up Forklifts, including Center Rider and Dock Stocker models, to move, stack, and retrieve materials throughout the distribution center.Execute a comprehensive range of warehouse functions, which may include loading and unloading trucks, order picking, packing products, and preparing items for shipment.Accurately perform receiving duties, ensuring proper documentation, inspection, and storage of incoming goods.Conduct inventory management tasks such as cycle counting to maintain precise stock levels and support inventory accuracy.Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as operational guidelines, to ensure a secure and productive working environment.Stand Up Forklift Operator Qualifications:One (1) year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience is preferred.Demonstrated proficiency in operating Stand Up Forklifts and Pallet Riders.Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 35lbsApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
