What You'll Do Assisting residents with personal care setup, grooming, and daily routines Escorting residents to meals, activities, and appointments within the facility Providing companionship through conversation, reading, games, and social engagement Supporting activity participation and encouraging resident independence Responding to call lights by notifying nursing staff when clinical assistance is needed Helping maintain clean, organized, and comfortable resident rooms and common areas Assisting with meal service, snack delivery, dining room setup, and cleanup Performing housekeeping duties and maintaining sanitary conditions throughout the facility Monitoring residents and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team Following infection control, safety, HIPAA, and resident rights policies at all times Please note: This position does not provide hands‑on clinical care or resident transfers. Clinical needs are referred to licensed nursing staff. Qualifications Is at least 18 years old Has excellent communication and customer service skills Enjoys working with seniors and long‑term care residents Can work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays when needed Can perform the physical requirements of the position Maintains a positive attitude and works well as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in long‑term care, assisted living, or healthcare Food Handler's Permit or ServSafe Certification CPR/First Aid certification Experience in a fast‑paced environment Why Join Royale Gardens?
