Payroll Specialist - HR Generalist

Payroll Specialist / HR Generalist Lancaster, OH $30/hour We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist / HR Generalist to join our team in Lancaster, Ohio. This role is primarily responsible for payroll processing, with additional responsibilities supporting HR functions across the organization. Key Responsibilities Payroll (Primary Focus) Process and manage weekly/biweekly payroll accurately and on time Maintain payroll records, including wages, deductions, and taxes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries Coordinate with finance on payroll reporting and audits HR Generalist Duties Support onboarding and offboarding processes Maintain employee records and HRIS systems Assist with benefits administration and employee communications Support employee relations and respond to HR-related inquiries Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws Qualifications 2+ years of payroll experience (multi-state preferred) Experience with HR processes and generalist responsibilities Strong knowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft Excel High attention to detail and confidentiality Excellent communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with HRIS/payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar) Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or related field What We Offer Competitive pay at $30/hour Stable, supportive work environment Opportunity to grow within HR and payroll functions #J-18808-Ljbffr CFS
