Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference this summer as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting extended school year (ESY) programming in a vibrant educational setting. This contract assignment runs from July 6th to July 23rd, offering the chance to work closely with students and experienced professionals during a condensed summer schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota SLPA license required
• Recent experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a school or clinical setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Professional, organized, and punctual approach
• Commitment to student-centered support

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services to students following their individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Document student progress meticulously and provide updates to supervising SLP and educators
• Support therapy sessions with engaging activities and evidence-based strategies
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff and families to reinforce communication goals
• Prepare materials and adapt activities for diverse student needs

Schedule Details:

• July 6–9: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM (student time 9:00–12:00)
• July 13–16: 8:30 AM–2:30 PM (student time 9:00–2:00)
• July 20–23: 8:30 AM–2:30 PM (student time 9:00–2:00)
