The Work Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices‑based architecture and cutting‑edge technologies. The System Automation Software Engineer will be responsible for: Utilizing a test framework to execute manual and automated tests. Authoring tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright. Knowledgeable in microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, Agile methodology. Executing load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end‑to‑end testing. Agile development and delivery of software. Communicating and collaborating effectively with other team members and stakeholders. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline. An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI poly within 7 years). Desired Skills Playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium tools: Cypress; 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA). Software: Java, JavaScript, Python, Ansible. Other: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, GitLab, Jira. Clearance Level TS/SCI with Polygraph (SP). Compensation The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $150,800 – $265,880.
