AppleTree Staffing is seeking skilled and motivated HVAC/R Technicians to join our client in Indianapolis. In this role, a company vehicle and gas are provided. Your service region will be local ensuring you will be home promptly every night!

Your Role:
As an HVAC/R Technician, you will take the lead in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our valued commercial clients.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment including, but not limited to HVAC systems, walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and reach-in coolers and freezers
• Take regular service calls across a designated region
• Complete service calls accurately and in a timely manner
• Obtain information that addresses or anticipates the equipment service needs of the venue. Select the appropriate actions to meet and exceed quality service levels for each venue.
• Communicates parts order(s) and repair status with customer and or branch office
• Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked
• Maintains service vehicles, tools, and uniforms consistent with company guidelines
• Meet on-call requirements

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience as a Commercial or Industrial Service Technician, or relevant military service
• EPA certification
• CFESA certification would be a plus
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate with customers to ensure their understanding of the work being performed
• Strong attention to detail
• Good driving record and a valid IN driver's license
• Basic computer and iPad skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 75 pounds
