Quality Assurance Technician I (Temporary) – 6-Month Project

A leading manufacturing company in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician I for a 6-month temporary assignment on 2nd shift . This is an excellent opportunity for quality professionals with QA/QC experience who thrive in a fast-paced production environment and are passionate about maintaining high quality standards.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
- Assignment Length: 6 Months
- Shifts Available:
2nd Shift 3pm-11:30pm
3rd Shift 11pm-7:30am
Responsibilities
- Perform sampling of components, in-process materials, and finished goods
- Conduct physical testing and inspections according to established procedures
- Maintain reserve samples and related documentation
- Complete QA records accurately and in a timely manner
- Support quality compliance initiatives and regulatory requirements
- Identify and report quality concerns and non-conformances
- Follow cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and company quality standards
- Ensure proper sample handling, storage, and disposal
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain product quality
- Perform additional quality-related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of QA/QC experience
- Knowledge and understanding of quality compliance principles
- Working knowledge of cGMP and regulatory guidelines
- Experience in food, pharmaceutical, medical device, or related regulated industries preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Familiarity with safe work practices, PPE requirements, allergen control, and sample handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
