Dubak Electrical Group LLC is growing and seeking an Assistant Electrical Project Manager to join our Greater Chicago area team. This role offers the opportunity to assist with managing diverse electrical construction projects across industries and various locations.As an Assistant Electrical Project Manager, you will assist in overseeing the full project lifecycle — from business development and estimating through execution and closeout. You will partner with the Project Manager for project delivery, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule goals are met while maintaining client satisfaction and safety standards. The typical project values range from $250K to $4.5MM in the heavy commercial and light industrial sectors.Key Responsibilities:Partner with the Project Manager to manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeoutAssist with budgeting, scheduling, change management, and cost trackingCollaborate to oversee subcontractors, labor resources, and field supervisionCoordinate multi-trade installation methods (electrical, mechanical, civil, structural)Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirementsMaintain strong client relationships and pursue new business opportunitiesPrepare and deliver technical documents, proposals, and presentationsHelp to provide value engineering analysis to optimize cost and efficiencyQualifications:Electrical field experience with industrial/commercial electrical projects is preferredKnowledge in electrical systems + general knowledge of mechanical, civil, and structural workProficiency with MS Project, Word, ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writingAbility to assist with management of multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressureSelf-motivated with leadership and time management skillsWillingness to travel if neededWhat We Offer:Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits to include medical, dental, vision, disability, among other voluntary optionsEmployer paid short-term disability and life insurance401(k) with company contribution and profit sharingPaid Time OffSix (6) paid holidaysEducational reimbursement programCareer growth & advancement opportunitiesA positive work environmentDubak Electrical Group, LLC and its affiliates is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
