Pharmaceutical Project Manager

About the Role Our client is seeking a results-driven and organized Pharmaceutical Project Manager to oversee key initiatives within their operations in East London . This role is integral to managing the successful planning, execution, and completion of diverse pharmaceutical projects, from new product launches to process improvements and clinical trial support. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. This position offers a significant opportunity for a seasoned project manager to lead critical advancements within the pharmaceutical industry in the Eastern Cape region. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and closing of pharmaceutical projects, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessment. Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track. Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates to senior management and relevant departments. Ensure all projects are completed in compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion within the pharmaceutical industry. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, or commercialization processes. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and strong analytical skills.
