Our Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians specialized skills, knowledge surround state/federal regulations, and commitment to proper system functioning play a critical role in safeguarding lives, property, and businesses from the devastating effects of fires.As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician, you will:Install, repair, and maintenance of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow preventers, fire hydrants, and fire pumpsPerform fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water-based equipment inspections and testingProperly document deficiencies/impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow required process of reporting deficiencies while on-siteAdhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and proceduresMaintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performedMaintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment. Follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and careYou will make an impact with these qualifications:3 + years of experience in the installation and/or repair of water-based equipmentAbility and willingness to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassistedMust be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle programLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:5 + years of experience with installation and repair of water-based equipmentHigh school diploma, state-recognized GED, associate, or bachelor's degree preferredNICET certificationReady to create your own journey?
