Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client, a global leader in aerospace and advanced manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the Aerospace Engineering Department supporting cross-functional product development and design teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, collaboration skills, and innovative thinking which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ (111 South 34th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034, United States) Pay Range: $59/hr

What's the Job?

Design and develop aerospace components and systems using NX CAD modeling
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle
Perform engineering analysis, including weight optimization and manufacturability
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and cost estimation
Create and review technical drawings using ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
6+ years of experience in mechanical design using NX and Teamcenter
Experience in engine or APU design
Strong knowledge and application of ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) standards
U.S. Citizenship (required)
