Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine physical therapy needs and document findings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques
• Provide therapy interventions and adjust plans based on patient response and goals
• Establish discharge plans and communicate recommendations to patients, families, and the care team
• Complete comprehensive clinical documentation within established deadlines
• Supervise assigned PT assistants and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient progress
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, safety, and activity modifications

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
• Physical Therapy license in the state of practice (California) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• At least two years of recent physical therapy experience preferred
• Pelvic floor therapy experience and PRPC or WCS certification (or actively pursuing certification) preferred
• Ability to work in a short-term acute care hospital setting
